π Planetarium Experience | Space Science
Exploring Our Solar System & Beyond
Students will journey through space during an immersive planetarium presentation featuring engaging visuals and narration.
This experience introduces students to:
Our solar system and its planets
Stars and other celestial objects
Fundamental astronomy and space science concepts
π° Social Studies | More Money: A Global Exploration of Economics
Understanding Our Interconnected World
What happens to the global economy when major events change the way the world operates?
Through a fast-paced, interactive card game, students will explore how natural and human-made events influence global markets and everyday life.
Taking on roles involving world trade and commodities such as oil and electronics, students will learn about free-market and command economies while practicing collaboration and strategic thinking.
π Science & Engineering | Apollo 13 Pegboard Challenge
Creative Thinking. Real-World Problem-Solving.
Inspired by NASA's famous Apollo 13 engineering challenge, students will explore how creative thinking and teamwork can help solve seemingly impossible problems.
Working in groups, students will tackle a hands-on pegboard challenge that requires them to navigate a small ball through obstacles using limited time and resources.
This experience encourages teamwork, ingenuity, and thinking outside the box!
π₯ͺ Lunch & Dining
Cranbrook has an on-site cafeteria where food is available for purchase. However, we strongly encourage families to bring a packed lunch to make the most of our time together!
Bringing your own lunch will help minimize time spent waiting for food and ensure students don't miss any of the exciting educational experiences planned throughout the day.
